Keep in mind:

1. Baby steps are good.

2. Be patient with yourself.

3. Commit yourself to God and trust Him for changes in yourself and others (this should be #1)

4. Rest, and listen to God. Talk with Him and read His Word with consistency. Otherwise you can expect nothing. (this also should be #1)

5. When things look bad then rejoice that God is growing you. You can now see the things that needed correcting all along.

6. You can look back to see that God is faithful. Then look forward to the promise of God. Last, live for God today. Just do the next thing God is asking you to do without worrying about yesterday or tomorrow.

7. Never give up on yourself, your spouse, your children, or on God.
