Email sent in response to an bogus email circulated by believers:

According to the article, “Madelyn Murray O’Hare never petitioned the FCC to ban religious programming..” Besides, she’s been missing / dead since 1995.

To quote the FCC: “The rumor that the FCC has before it a proposal to not issue licenses to religious broadcasters still continues to circulate, more than 27 years after the Commission denied that request. The FCC’s policy toward religious broadcasters remains unchanged in that no special provisions or restrictions are applied to religious stations or licensees, nor are any changes to that policy contemplated.”

We all must be careful to speak and email accurately as we are people of the Truth, and what we believe matters to those who have not yet recognized the Truth.
