To glorify God. (His body God&#8217;s temple)<br \/> <a title=\"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=I%20Corinthians%206:19-20;&amp;version=31;\">I Corinthians 6:19-20<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. He is God&#8217;s unique creation. (What has evolution done for anyone&#8217;s self-image?)<br \/> <a title=\"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. \" href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Psalm%20139:13-16;&amp;version=31;\">Psalm 139:13-16<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. God loves and reproves him.\u00a0 <a title=\"He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Proverbs%203:12;&amp;version=31;\">Proverbs 3:12<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Parents love and correct him. (Don&#8217;t just scream; Demeaning doesn&#8217;t show love)<br \/> <a title=\"He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Proverbs%2013:24;&amp;version=31;\">Proverbs 13:24<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Forgiveness. (They will learn about forgiveness from us)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=I%20John%201:9;&amp;version=31;\" title=\"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.\">I John 1:9<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Accountable for own actions. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Obedience to authority.\u00a0 <a title=\"Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. To be appreciative.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=I%20Thessalonians%205:18;&amp;version=31;\" title=\"give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.\">I Thessalonians 5:18<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10. To speak kindly.\u00a0 <a title=\"Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%204:31-32;&amp;version=31;\">Ephesians 4:31-32<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11. To learn the Word of God.\u00a0 <a title=\"I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Psalm%20119:11;&amp;version=31;\">Psalm 119:11<\/a>\u00a0 (Well, really, read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?book_id=23&amp;chapter=119&amp;version=31\">all of Psalm 119<\/a>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12. Teach him to pray. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Hebrews%204:16;&amp;version=31;\" title=\"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.\">Hebrews 4:16<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note &#8211; Our homes should be designed to teach these principles.
