It explains part of the reason why I (usually) don&#8217;t get discouraged during those &#8220;dry&#8221; times in my life. I used to get very discouraged during those times early in my Christian journey. But I&#8217;ve learned that even in those times, <em>especially<\/em> during those times, I learn new things about God, myself, and the people and world around me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, <em>I will fear no evil:\u00a0<strong> for thou art with me<\/strong><\/em>; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes.\u00a0 Even in the driest of times, even in the most stressful, tense, painful, horrific of times, even when I&#8217;m being poured out like a drink offering, yes, even in the valley of the shadow of death, God is with me; I will fear no evil.\u00a0 Have faith in God, my friends.
